Soul Movement started as a project by Shanice M. Whittaker, who found a need in the black/AA community where dancers and entrepreneurs lacked development and skill building opportunities. As a result, Soul Movement began as a platform for dancers to learn, engage, and grow in their career and artistic goals. Soul Movement LLC has expanded to promote healthy living, career and lifestyle mentorship, and event planning services. Her goal is to provide affordable and relevant access to educational resources, individualized mentorship, and build a network of thriving Bay Area individuals and organizations of color.
